Page-specific directory evidence
Sunshine Salvage (Amish Discount Grocery & Country Store) is recorded at S Co Rd 5 E, Monte Vista, CO and classified as general market. Its directory record specifically names baked goods and flowers. 1 other indexable listing is available in Monte Vista for comparison.
Sunshine Salvage is an Amish discount grocery and country store in Monte Vista, Colorado, in the San Luis Valley.
The store makes baked goods on site rather than stocking only packaged groceries. This is the part of the inventory to plan around, since fresh-baked items move and sell out in a way that shelf-stable stock does not. If you want a particular item, going earlier in the day is the safer bet.
A flower shop operates alongside the grocery side of the business. It covers cut flowers and arrangements, which makes the store a single stop if you need both pantry goods and flowers for an occasion or a table.
Payment is cash or check; there is no card reader noted, so bring one of those if you plan to buy. The store is open year-round rather than seasonally, but calling ahead is still reasonable if you are driving in from elsewhere in the valley.
General markets can combine groceries, deli items, baked goods, gifts, household supplies, or locally made products, so the store name alone may not describe the current selection. Use the listed products as a starting point and contact the business when one item is the reason for your trip.
This page records the business name, location, category, and available contact or product details from the sources shown above. A Google Maps match or country-style business name does not by itself establish Amish ownership, who made every product, or what is in stock today. For those distinctions, ask the business about the specific item or relationship that matters to you. If you find an outdated address, closure, or product claim, use the listing correction form so the record can be reviewed.
