Ashery Country Store

Most of the store is bulk: dry goods sold in larger amounts than a regular supermarket, alongside a stocked grocery section. There are bulk dried foods as well, which covers things like dried fruit and other shelf-stable items measured out by weight rather than packaged in single units. Buying this way suits anyone who bakes or cooks in volume, or who would rather restock a pantry in one trip than buy small packages repeatedly.

A full service deli runs in the store and handles deli meats, so you can pick up sliced meats at the counter rather than prepackaged. The store also sells produce and frozen custard, and stocks homemade Amish foods. That mix means the store works for a full grocery run and for a smaller stop, since the custard and produce are things you can buy on their own without a larger order.

Posted hours are 9AM to 5PM. Payment is by cash or check; no card reader is noted, so plan to bring one of those if you are driving in from out of town. The store operates year-round rather than on a seasonal schedule, so the bulk and grocery stock is available outside of harvest months as well.
